Mr. Long is a principal and co-founder of Starling. Previously, he co-founded East Bay Capital, a real estate investment firm headquartered in Florida. Prior to East Bay, Mr. Long was the Director of Development for The Clarkson Group, a hotel owner and operator, where he oversaw development and asset management for the firm’s lodging joint venture with Fremont Realty Capital. Mr. Long has also worked at Beacon Capital Partners, a real estate private equity firm headquartered in Boston.
Mr. Long received an MBA from Columbia Business School; an MS from The University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated at the top of his class; and a BE from Vanderbilt University, where he graduated with honors.
Mr. Lucie is a principal and co-founder of Starling. Previously, he was a Senior Investment Manager at Stratford Land, a real estate private equity firm headquartered in Dallas. Prior to joining Stratford, Mr. Lucie was a Vice President in the Acquisitions and Asset Management Groups for Greenfield Partners, a real estate private equity firm headquartered in Connecticut. Before Greenfield, Mr. Lucie was an Associate with Lincoln Property Company in the Southwest Multifamily Group. Before joining Lincoln, Mr. Lucie was an Analyst with Bank of America Securities in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group.
Mr. Lucie received an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
Teresa GrahamVice President
Mrs. Graham is a Vice President at Starling, where she oversees asset management for the firm’s development and acquisition platforms and assists with identifying new growth opportunities. Prior to joining Starling, she was an Analyst with Wachle Lear, a Florida-based real estate brokerage and advisory firm. Mrs. Graham was also an Analyst at CoStar Group, a leading research and information services firm based in Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Graham received an MS in Economics from the University of New Hampshire and a BS in History and Economics from the University of Virginia.
Mrs. Neal serves as Starling’s Controller where she oversees accounting, tax, and financial reporting duties. Mrs. Neal previously held senior level accounting positions at large regional and multinational firms including BGR, LBA Group (now BDO USA), and Sysco Foods. Mrs. Neal hails from Ohio, where she attended Miami University.
